PROCESS
Our dedicated full-service design firm and our detailed project management enables us to create beautiful spaces with a seamless process. The process begins with an initial getting-to-know-you call at which time we will schedule an on-site consultation.
1 FIRST ON-SITE CONSULTATION
This on-site consultation is a 1.5 hour to 2-hour working appointment with the co-principals. All financial and decision makers should be present to review the scope, project investment and our letter of agreement. A consultation fee is requested for this first meeting as we provide design ideas and suggestions for your project. If your project moves forward with us, this investment in your project will be credited towards your signed letter of agreement.
2 KICK OFF MEETING
Once we receive the signed letter of agreement and required retainer, the next meeting is set at our office. This is a time to meet the team and review the scope, preliminary budget, client intake questionnaire and your inspiration images.
3 CONCEPT DESIGN PRESENTATION
We will create 2-3 conceptual schemes in which to take your project. These schemes spring from the kick-off meeting, our assessment of the space, and our professional expertise. The concept schemes include inspiration images with color, palette, and furniture pieces. The design team will present and review the concept boards with you to define your style and preferred key elements for the project.
4 DESIGN PHASE:
PRODUCT + MATERIAL SOURCING
During this phase we will create detailed construction drawings and space plans. Additionally, we will source everything from architectural finishes to furnishings. Product sourcing includes time with and without the client. Once all selections are approved and finalized, a proposal is created and then a deposit is collected for purchasing.
5 IMPLEMENTATION + PROJECT MANAGEMENT
We oversee the ordering, expediting and specifications, coordinate with all members of your design team, trade professionals and workrooms, keeping your project on track, on budget, and on schedule.
6 INSTALLATION
Now it all comes together… construction is complete and it’s time to place furniture, hang window treatments and install curated art pieces. Our goal is to exceed your expectations. We want you to love the home you live in, or the space where you work. The relationships created between our design firm and our clients goes beyond that final install… be that a confident referral or a future project together.
