Her path was anything but linear, and that breadth is exactly what makes her work distinct. She studied at the New York School of Interior Design, spent seven years on high-end retail design in Los Angeles for clients including Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus, and pivoted into film and TV set design before coming home to Denver to launch company kd.
